Chaos Fastpitch Organization
Entering our 27th season, Chaos Softball holds firmly to its founding principle of providing opportunity for girls to participate and learn at a level not available at most high school or regional travel level programs. Chaos Softball is a developmental program providing girls the tools to move as far up the competitive softball hierarchy as their talents and work ethic can carry them.
About Us
Chaos was founded in 1997 by Bob Drumheller & Jeff Celucci to afford girls in the 18U division the opportunity to participate in softball at a level of play not available to most high school or local travel teams. In 2000 leadership of the organization was taken over by Joe Spina, who is now in his 21st year and coaches the 18U Chaos Gold Team as well as continuing to lead the organization as it has grown from one team to as many as 12.
Chaos 2024/225 is made up of 11 teams: a 10u team, three 12U teams, two 14U teams, three 16U teams, and two 18U teams. More than 130 young ladies will spend their summer traveling to various tournaments anywhere from New Jersey to Colorado to Florida to California. Most teams compete in 7 to 10 tournaments, including several overnight trips.
Tryouts for Chaos are generally in July and August of each year, and practices then begin in the fall with indoor practices throughout the winter. Tryout schedules will be posted on the Home page generally around late July. If you click on the "Contact Chaos" button on the top of the page and give us your contact information, we will email you as tryouts approach in August.
These young ladies have begun practicing for the 2024/25 season. They have devoted a considerable amount of time and effort to improving their skills to be as competitive as they can be. They will also have gotten to know and appreciate each other as teammates and friends, so the entire Chaos experience will be enjoyed. Chaos is not just a softball team. It is an experience that fosters family values, team spirit, hard work and friendship. All are involved: players, parents & siblings and coaches. This involvement cannot help but then lead to the formation of a great softball organization.
